A Century of Craftsmanship, Built on a Family Name

    Silvernail began in the 1890s with Emery Silvernail in the mechanical trades, and by 1921, Silvernail Plumbing was officially established in Oklahoma City, serving a city that was still growing up, and long before air conditioning was common. Since then, four generations have carried the business forward, each trained in the trades and raised with one standard, do the job right.  Today, we serve Central Oklahoma with the same craftsmanship and integrity, just with faster response, better tools, and a team built for real-world problems. From hand-lettered trucks to a modern fleet with real-time dispatch and stocked vehicles, we’ve evolved with the community while protecting what matters most  quality work, honest recommendations, and respect for your home.

Meet Jay Silvernail: Fourth-Generation Owner

    Silvernail Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is led by Jay Silvernail, a fourth-generation owner who treats the family name like a responsibility, and not a tagline. Degrees in finance and law, Jay brings both business discipline and long-term stewardship to the company, while staying deeply grounded in Oklahoma City through relationships built over a lifetime. His leadership is built on more than credentials, he’s been around HVAC and plumbing since he was a little boy, learning the trade and the standards behind it from the ground up. He’s known not just for leading the business, but for knowing the community, valuing people, and doing what’s right when it counts.

    Our team includes licensed plumbers, certified HVAC technicians, and seasoned office staff, many of whom have been with us for years, some for decades. These are familiar faces across Central Oklahoma. They show up clean, respectful, and prepared, explain your options clearly, and get the job done without the drama. We invest in our people with paid training, professional development, and a culture that values integrity over shortcuts because consistent, high-quality service doesn’t happen by accident.
